2014 was City on a Hill’s 7th Birthday, and to celebrate, they produced a 10min documentary looking back over the years and depicting where the church would like to be in the future.
The film played on the 28th of October at Melbourne Town Hall to an audience of around 2,000 people.
We had plenty of archive footage to use, but it also required another 16 days of shooting and interviewing around Melbourne and Geelong.
The film is an inspiring collage of stories from the congregation and church staff as they talk about what they have enjoyed over the past 7 years. Lead Pastor Guy Mason also describes the small beginning of the rapidly growing church and where he feels God is leading it.
